The German government is coming under increasing pressure in the wake of harsh international criticism of a Nato air strike on two hijacked fuel trucks in the Afghan province of Kunduz on Thursday night. As commander of the Isaf troops stationed there, a German colonel gave the order to attack. International sources put the number of victims at anywhere from over 50 to more than 120.
