US President Barack Obama's decision to halt plans initiated by the Bush administration for a missile defence shield in Poland and the Czech Republic has ruffled many feathers in Central and Eastern Europe. The region's press writes that the move has only exacerbated feelings of insecurity and mistrust regarding Russia.
