The Socialists have come out victorious in early parliamentary elections held in Greece on Sunday. George Papandreou's Panhellenic Socialist Movement (Pasok) was the strongest force with 44 percent of the vote, ousting Kostas Karamanlis' conservative Nea Dimokratia party.
