Germany cuts taxes

 

The new liberal-conservative coalition government in Berlin has announced it will cut taxes in a bid to ease the effects of the crisis. Most European commentators applaud the move as favouring economic growth, though some are asking how the German state will finance itself if recovery is not quick in coming.
